# Email

> Send outbound email through your Resend account or your own SMTP server.

## Email

Alforse sends transactional email (quotes, purchase orders, invoices, and more) from your own domain. Set it up under **Settings → Integrations → Email**. Delivery goes through Resend or a custom SMTP server.

### Choose a provider

Under **Delivery method**, select **Resend** or **Custom SMTP**. The configuration fields change for the selected provider.

### Fill in the provider fields

For **Resend**, enter the API key. For **Custom SMTP**, enter the host, port, username, password, and TLS setting. Enter the **From email** for either provider; it must be an address on a domain you control.
