# Glossary

> Every Alforse term, defined and linked: the manufacturing and accounting vocabulary the rest of the docs lean on.

This glossary defines terms used throughout Alforse. For example, a method is a bill of materials, work in process is a ledger balance rather than a table, and a payment is its own record that is applied to an invoice. Each entry uses the same definition as its inline popover; select **Learn more** for details.
